Fine-Art Giclée
Fine-Art is a term that is associated with various forms of visual and photographic art, such as painting, sculpture, photography and indicates an artefact created for purely aesthetic purposes. In photography the term Fine-Art is used to enhance the maximum expressions of the photographer, and to indicate great technique and excellent quality in printing. Both elements of technique and quality must conform to professional and aesthetic standards.
For those who wish to experiment with printing techniques different from traditional ones, Fine-Art giclée printing represents an innovative method of creative expression. These technical and artistic elements are integrated into the printing of the works.
The term Giclée derives from the French "gicler" which means "to spray". Giclée was coined in 1991 by Jack Duganne, a fine art lithograph printer, to mean any print of artwork made with an inkjet printer.
In this type of print, a series of choices are combined that have a decisive influence on the final result. These choices concern a high quality printer, pigment inks (Epson Ultrachrome) and Fine-Art certified supports (we offer a wide range of papers including the prestigious Hahnemühle).
Thanks to the high technology used, our laboratory represents a stimulus for the art and photography sector, always offering new perspectives to artists, gallery owners, photographers and museums.
